Welcome to the first week of your ceramics course, I hope you enjoy it and learn a lot over the weeks ahead. During this first session you should have learned about the preparation and wedging methods used by potters. You should also have some understanding of pinching as a method of making pots. I have attached a link to my pinterest board to help you see the wide variety of expression that pinch pots can explore. If you are unfamiliar with pinterest it is a website that allows you to collect ideas and inspiration to help with your creative projects and i would strongly recommend that you started to use it, it will help you to develop interesting outcomes from your sessions.
